Joe Carrasco started out on the bottom rung of the ladder in the construction industry, but over the past 18 years, he has worked his way up with a shovel in his hand and a smile on his face. We welcomed Joe to our Dallas office one year ago as a superintendent, and he quickly proved he was worth his salt. He now serves as a project manager on various JOC programs in the Dallas region.
Joe is a first generation Cuban-American who loves the cultures and food from both worlds. Raised in Naples, Florida, Joe moved to Texas seven years ago to pursue better opportunities for him and his family. He is a family-oriented man who enjoys pool time and movie nights with his wife of 17 years, Sara, and his 12-year-old daughter, Sabrina. He also has a 23-year-old step-son currently serving in the military as a Navy diver. In his spare time, Joe likes hiking, biking, fishing, paint balling, and dodgeball. Remember the 5 D’s: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and … Dodge!
Joe doesn’t take life too serious and loves to constantly joke and play around. He is high energy and shares his enthusiasm with others – whether they want him to or not. This may be the reason his Dallas coworkers have given him the nickname of “Tigger.”
We’re happy to have you, Joe! Keep up the great work – and the jokes!
