Project Success Stories

Classic Toyota Galveston

In 2017, Jamail & Smith collaborated with Acosta Architecture, Lentz Engineering, Matrix Structural Engineers, and Dabney Commercial Engineering to add a metal building onto the existing office space at Classic Toyota Galveston. Jamail & Smith provided all interior build-outs, finishes, doors, windows, storefront systems, cabinetry, restroom fixtures, overhead doors, acm panels as required, integral gutters, CMU firewall, Fans, and site demolition.

As we collaborated with a variety of stakeholders, we were able to provide energetic support, accountability and an unmatched skill level. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to make Classic Toyota Galveston look great to its customers and employees.

Brookside Equipment

Jamail & Smith has completed two projects with Brookside Equipment in Houston. Both are John Deere showrooms. These buildings were both approximately 20,000 square feet and included a large showroom, supply store, and administrative offices.

We are currently in negotiations for a contract to build their corporate headquarters as well. Our desire is to make Brookside Equipment look great by delivering quality construction results their clients and team members will love.

The building is a brick building.

Hometown Bank

Jamail & Smith built the newest of the five Hometown Bank branch locations. Designed by a local architecture firm, the project was planned with the same look and feel as the downtown historic district in Friendswood. The interior was complete with cherry wood and tile throughout and high cathedral ceilings with exposed beams.

This project is a prime example of keeping money local and giving back to the community. The owner, bank officers, employees, and community all expressed excitement about the new location and took pride in the quality construction results of their new local bank.

Motorola

Motorola was our first IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract, meaning we agreed to provide an indefinite quantity of services during a fixed period of time.

From 1991 to 1996, throughout this annual renewal partnership, Jamail & Smith collaborated with Motorola to find construction solutions for a jogging/hiking trail, picnic areas, basement, retaining wall, stairway, three phases of renovation to their cafeteria, M-2 and K-2 remodels, parking lot repair, water quality basin #6, liquid nitrogen tank slab, A-Building industrial waste line modification, fire water tank demolition, C-Building industrial waste line, C-Building sub-station, and demolition of a concrete at Dock A.

We are proud of the quality construction results we provided throughout our partnership with Motorola.
