Spring Branch ISD: Meadow Wood Playground
Spring Branch ISD called upon our team to design and install new high-end playground equipment at Meadow Wood playground. This was a half a million dollar playground that required installation, fall protection surfacing, and sidewalks.
In order to meet the needs of our client, our team demoed existing benches and playground equipment, removed existing iron fencing to allow access for equipment and materials to pass through, implemented underground drainage on site underneath new fall protection surface and provided overall supervision of the project.
Our team worked closely with the architect and vendor to provide Spring Branch ISD with a variety of design options. Once a design was chosen, our team got to work!
During construction, bad weather and hurricanes affected the Houston area, and our project timeline. With the grit to do whatever it takes, our team worked efficiently around inclement weather to deliver a timely final product.
In the end, Jamail & Smith Construction provided a quality construction result that SBISD children love because it is safe, beautiful, and fun!
