Spring Branch ISD: Valley Oaks Elementary

Last week, we talked about that the design and install of new high-end playground equipment at Meadow Wood playground. This week, we want to talk about a request that was made in response to COVID-19 for the safety of the students and teachers at Valley Oaks Elementary School.

Due to COVID-19, Valley Oaks Elementary School was in need of new classroom build outs to accommodate smaller class sizes.

The scope of the project consisted of the installation of new walls, ceilings, flooring, lighting, millwork, smart boards, projectors, and of course, a fire alarm.

The finished classrooms matched the existing classrooms identically, ensuring that the classrooms were fully equipped and functional for the specific needs of the teachers and students.

Our team was able to provide a quality construction result by finishing the project before school started and offering a safer solution for the students and teachers of Valley Oaks Elementary School.

Did you know that Spring Branch ISD was the first Texas school district to implement job order contracting? Our project managers and estimators were part of the original team for this expeditionary program. Learn more about our history with Spring Branch ISD in our recent post.
